TRAINING COURSES FOR TEACHERS

FM: FUNDAMENTOS METODOLÓGICOS

Teaching foreign languages has change over the time in the light from studies of the human cognition and the language concept. The new paradigm from teaching languages establishes new tasks for all parts involved in such process. For these reasons, we try to answer the following questions: What’s the role for teachers and students in the foreign language class? What skills the studends need to develop? How can they do it? Why we select some specific activities? Which level of influence has the new approaches in classes and in the planning of the academic program?

Targets

The main target of this course is focus on the consolidation of the necessary knowledge and methods to ensure that the current or future language teachers will be able to plan their L2 or ELE classes supported by a theoretical basis as well as a practical reflection.

  • MF 1. Concepts, theories and future methods.

  • MF 2. “Learning-by-doing”: skills and actions.

  • MF 3. Creating learning and cooperation environments.

  • MF 4. Planning and assessment.

Certification

Students undertaking this course will be given a Certificate of Achivement, issued by Alcalingua together with the University of Acalá.
